Istituto "Alcide Cervi" (Italy)
The Istituto Alcide Cervi was created on 24 April 1972 in Reggio Emilia by “Alleanza Nazionale dei Contadini” (today “Confederazione Italiana Agricoltori”), the “Associazione Nazionale Partigiani d’Italia” in the province of Reggio Emilia, and the Municipality of Gattatico. Collecting the extraordinary heritage of values represented by the figure of Alcide Cervi, along with the memory of his seven sons, anti-fascism’s martyrs, the Institute comes from the Emilian rural experiences in order to work with consistency and commitment to the preservation values at the base of the Italian Republican Constitution.
